Emotional venting on social media, commonly known as “social media venting,” has become a widespread habit among Indonesian netizens, especially teenagers. The lack of support found in real life often drives them to social media as an outlet for their emotions. While expressing emotions is important for maintaining mental health, the vastness of social media and its communities do not guarantee users’ privacy and safety. Negative comments and judgmental views cause many netizens to feel anxious about venting online. This final project focuses on designing an application that provides a safe space for teenagers to vent, serving as an alternative to large social media platforms.
